This home was conceived as a green prototype concept home and was one of the first house in the region to receive both LEED Platinum and BuiltGreen 5 star rating.
The house takes on the form of two side-by-side blocks. On one side is the “public” function of the house, which includes the living, dining, kitchen and office functions. The interior of the block is a double height ceiling loft space, with plenty of south facing clerestory windows and skylights.
The other block of the house consists of the bedrooms, guestrooms and garage. This block has minimum windows and is compact and intimate, fitting for the more “private” functions of the house.
